THAT IN ALL THINGS JESUS MAY HAVE THE PREEMINENCE

Dec 31, 2025    REV.DR.GEORGE ADDAE-MINTAH

As we step into 2026, we're invited to embrace a transformative theme that will shape our entire year: Jesus having preeminence in all things. Drawing from Colossians 1:12-18, this message unpacks what it truly means for Christ to hold first place in every aspect of our lives. We discover that preeminence isn't just a theological concept—it's the practical reality that Jesus is superior, supreme, and above all things. The scriptures reveal that Jesus is the head of the church, the beginning of all creation, the firstborn from the dead, and the one in whom all things consist. This means He literally holds our universe together, from the vast galaxies spinning in space to the smallest atoms that make up our bodies. When we understand that the same power holding planets in their orbits is the power holding our lives together, fear loses its grip. We're challenged to put Jesus first not through religious performance, but by aligning our daily decisions with the principles of His Word. Whether in marriage, work, finances, or family—putting Jesus first means living according to His wisdom. The invitation is clear: surrender completely to the One who has already overcome death, whose name is above every name, and who promises that whatever we ask in His name, He will do. This isn't just another year; it's an opportunity to walk in the victory that comes from recognizing Christ's absolute authority over every circumstance we'll face.
